Usui Reiki training classes consist of 3 levels and involve learning the history and origins of Reiki, the chakra system, guidance in living the Principles of Reiki, how to give self-treatment and to others using hand positions as well the power symbols. Each level builds on the next opening you to higher frequencies through attunements. At the Master/Teacher level you are taught how to attune and teach others.
In this course, you will learn the history and origins of Reiki, an overview of the chakras, learn the 5 guiding principles of Reiki as well as hand placements to do a self-healing on yourself and others.
Students will be attuned to the 1st degree level of Reiki. Practice time is provided. You will also leave with a manual and certification of completion.
Cost: $150
In this course, you will learn the power symbols used for sessions, learn how to send a distance healing as well as heal mental, emotional, and past life issues. Students will be attuned to the 2nd degree level. You will receive a manual and certificate of completion.
Prerequisite: Must have completed Traditional Usui Level 1 in order to participate and practicing Level 1 for 2 months or more.
Cost: $175
Classes are limited to 4 people to allow spacing as well as enough practice time. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and refrain from heavy scents as some people have a sensitivity to fragrances (including nicotine). Reiki sessions normally require removing shoes, jewelry, and belts so you may want to keep that in mind. Each class is supplied with snacks and water and breaks throughout the class. Feel free to bring a cooler with lunch or other snacks/drinks. Please try to refrain from caffeine and eat healthy foods to allow the energy of the attunements to flow in their purest state. Feel free to bring a journal to write down any experiences you have after the attunements are given. A manual and certificate of completion will be provided during class.
Class days are scheduled for 8 hours however depending on the class size, questions, breaks, etc.. this could end earlier. The Master/ Teacher class is 2 days in addition to auditing a Level 1 and Level 2 class.
Level 1 can be done at any time the participant wishes to start their Reiki journey. It is required to have no less than 2 months of practice before Level 2 class is taken. The Master/Teacher class will be available for those who wish to teach Reiki and have chosen to make Reiki a part of their daily lives, however, will consist of practicing it for 2 years or more. It is not necessary for everyone to be a Master. Those in professions such as nursing, massage, yoga, or wherever healing can be done with another profession do not need to go to the Master level as Level 1 and Level 2 are sufficient. Taking Reiki classes is meant for the individual to have the tools to heal themselves and is meant to be a journey versus a destination. Those who wish to rush the learning lose the purpose of reiki and their own self-healing between each level.
